About

Providing the support and care you need to reclaim your strength and your life

Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed a flexible, individualized approach to helping people face their fears and move forward. I’ve seen how OCD and anxiety can become isolating, pulling people into cycles of guilt and shame, and how traumatic experiences can feel heavy to carry alone. You don’t have to stay stuck in that place and you don't have to figure it out on your own. With the right support, change is possible.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Prolonged Exposure. These treatments are highly effective for OCD, anxiety, and trauma, and focus on helping clients systematically face feared thoughts, sensations, and situations.

I tailor treatment to each individual, ensuring the pace and structure align with your needs, while maintaining a clear focus on meaningful progress. Throughout the process, I aim to provide a collaborative and supportive environment where you can do this work with confidence. In addition to ongoing therapy, I offer structured ERP and Prolonged Exposure intensives for clients who are ready to make faster progress and actively engage in treatment.

Common Questions

FAQs

Do you offer telehealth? Is exposure therapy possible through telehealth?

Yes. I offer telehealth sessions, and exposure-based therapy can be very effective in this format. In many cases, it allows us to work directly in your real-life environment, which can make exposures more relevant and meaningful. I’ll guide you step-by-step so you feel supported as you practice facing fears in a way that is manageable and intentional.

What is ERP?

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a highly effective treatment for OCD and anxiety. It involves gradually facing the thoughts, situations, or sensations that trigger fear, while learning to respond differently without relying on avoidance or compulsions. Over time, this helps reduce anxiety and gives you a greater sense of control.

What is Prolonged Exposure?

Prolonged Exposure is a structured, evidence-based treatment for trauma. It helps you process difficult experiences by gradually approaching memories, thoughts, and situations that have been avoided. This is done at a pace that feels manageable, with support throughout, so that the intensity of those experiences decreases over time.

Am I a good fit for ERP?

ERP tends to be a good fit for people who are struggling with OCD or anxiety and are willing to begin facing the fears that have been keeping them stuck. You don’t need to feel fully ready or confident, just open to trying a different approach. We’ll work together to build a plan that feels manageable and aligned with your goals.

What should I expect from our first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what you’ve been experiencing. We’ll talk about your current challenges, your goals for therapy, and what has or hasn’t worked in the past. I’ll also explain how I approach treatment and what working together might look like. There’s no pressure to dive into anything too quickly. This is about helping you meet your goals.

What ages do you work with?

I primarily see teens (14+) and adults. I may work with younger children on a case-by-case basis. I am trained in Pediatric ERP and can provide developmentally appropriate treatment for OCD and anxiety when it’s a good fit.
